SORRY, HUMANS: Amazon will most likely replace Whole Foods cashiers with automated systems
In line with Amazon’s announcement of plans to acquire Whole Foods for $13.7 billion, a survey carried out by ChargeItSpot revealed that a vast majority of consumers would like Amazon to add a “cashier-free checkout” should the acquisition take place.
